But how do you go about getting flowers delivered? We’ve got you covered.

How to get flowers for hospital: 4 TIPS
Check the ward and bed number
Putting the ward name and bed number is essential for a hospital delivery as wards will reject the delivery if the patient name and bed number do not match. Furthermore it is important to also give the florist a contact number in case the patient is discharged early and they would need to organise delivery to the patients home. Remember the hospital will not divulge this information to the florist.
Choose a bright and cheerful bouquet
The most important tip we can give you when it comes to hospital deliveries is: colour! Hospital rooms are plain and people’s spirits might not be so high. So a a beautiful bouquet of flowers can make a huge difference to the recipients morale. Furthermore ask your florists advice on low pollen flowers to avoid any issues with allergies – remember you might not be aware why the patient is hospitalised.
Include a vase
When you send flowers to a hospital we recommend choosing a design that comes in a vase. Many times the ward will not have extra vases and this makes life easier for the recipient who does not need to worry about how to keep the flowers alive. It also makes it easier for your loved one to take the flowers home with them.
Add a note
Be sure to tell your loved ones that you’re thinking of them and sending them lots of healing thoughts.
